Class Schedule
STTS’s Plumbing Apprenticeship classes start at various times
during the year. Call the office for details on when the next
class will begin. Those individuals interested in applying
for STTS’s program with no prior plumbing experience must begin
at level 1. Those individuals with plumbing experience are
required to take a placement test. The test results will
determine where you may start in the Plumbing Apprenticeship
Program.

Level One Class- 146 hours total
- Introduction to the Plumbing Profession (5 hours)
- Plumbing Safety (20 hours)
- Plumbing Tools (7.5 hours)
- Introduction to Plumbing Math (7.5 hours)
- Introduction to Plumbing Drawings (12.5 hours)
- Plastic Pipe and Fittings (10 hours)
- Copper Pipe and Fittings (10 hours)
- Cast-Iron Pipe and Fittings (12.5 hours)
- Carbon Steel Pipe and Fittings (10 hours)
- Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing (2.5 hours)
- Introduction to Drain, Waste, and Vent (DWV) Systems (10
hours)
- Fixtures and Faucets (5 hours)
- Introduction to Water Distribution Systems (10 hours)
Level Two Class-150 hours total
- Plumbing Math (15 hours)
- Reading Commercial Drawings (20 hours)
